August Wrap Up? September Ingredient

My goal for August was to track my food at least 27 days out of the 31 days in the month. Considering it's the month I go back to school and that it was also my birthday month, I had to make plans for days I KNEW I would have difficulty tracking. This helped a lot. I went to a few Picnic/BBQ's and when you don't know what other people have brought makes tracking difficult, so I knew that was going to be a day that I may not track. I also did not track on my birthday. I really didn't want to see the damage. Yes, GUILTY! But overall I made it a priority to plan ahead and use my spark people app to help me Track of my food, I am hoping this will help me be consistent with my September goal.

While on the subject my September goal, is to be a record breaker. I still don't have the specific guidelines for how to make this work, but I know that I want to maintain my streaks and not break records for tracking food, fitness minutes, and water.

    That's awesome that you made it a priority! It can be difficult tracking when you are eating food that other people made at picnics and things. I try to find recipes in SparkRecipes that match what I think people made. I usually try to find one without any healthy substitutions or if I can't, I add the extra ingredients separately (like if I only find potato salad made with light mayo or with yogurt or something, I'll add an extra tablespoon or two of regular mayo to my tracker).
