Shopping Outside The Box

Friday, September 02, 2011

I do not have a car and my friends and family often take me to Walmart where I get my food. This has always been a process which usually takes about an hour. I make my list and pick through the isles as I go.

Tonight I had to get some stuff and Joey reluctantly said "ok" as we were coming home from the pool hall. I walked into Walmart and thought about what made me happy for the last two weeks and thought what the hell.

So I bought 5 more bags of salad 2 bags of shredded carrots and a bushel of celery. The total was 16 bucks. I do about a bag a day of salad and throw some carrots in there and I have two cucumbers left.

Its been about 2 weeks and I just finished my first bottle of Balsamic and that is using it at almost every meal.

Oddly enough I still do not have the thirst like I have and have two and half cases of water still here.

I was just amazed at how my whole trip took about 5 minutes.

Your sugar is probably more under control and so you're less thirsty. You make a lot of good choices when buying good. Very healthy stuff. Yvonne
