Today after my run at the gym I used a foam roller for the first time on my quads, hamstrings, and calves. I had watched a SP video on how to use it to prevent or reduce soreness. I think it helped.
I'm extra excited about my 5K on Saturday as my 25 year old niece is going to run it with me. That will make it extra fun! Wonder if her fiance will come to watch and support. That would be good, too. We'll see.
