Day 2 - mindful

Its harder to keep on track than I recalled, but I did it.

Making sure I write food eaten down really keeps me in check.
Could've been a disaster - after my son's MRI we went to Chipotle where I ordered tacos, then ate 2 of 3 - and was plenty full. The servings are so big, my husband enjoyed the "doggie bag".

Now if I get in the habit of checking it before I consume it and regret it - then I will really be on to something!

Today had a South Beach version of pancakes and the salad nicoise for lunch, both tasty. The peach I had for desert was so sweet. I am glad to enjoy fruit again, I have been getting very boring in my daily choices. Time to mix it up.

Planning a beef/turkey meatloaf for dinner for DH and son, might just have a second helping of salad Nicoise myself. They probably won't want it since it has tuna and anchovies.

Now waiting for the MRI results. I trust it will be ok, but waiting a bit anxiously for the results.
