Healing = Inactivity this week.

Not feeling much like blogging - it's sooo hard to get back once you've lost a few days writing - but here I am. With the help of the office nurse was able to talk out my questions, fears and anxieties about getting an anti-inflammation shot for my heel. (For the whole story, sparkmail me), and with some preparation had it done that same day. I am glad I did it. It definitely positively affected my injury, and though I'm afraid to be too too excited, I am in a much better mental state. I have two more days with tape/padding on my foot, and the injection sites are still sore, but the weekend will give me a much better idea of where I am after the procedure.

I've spent the last few nights doing very little other than some very absorbed reading - since getting home from a weekend in PA visiting parents, tonight was the first night I even took out my laptop. My browser at work crashes every time I try to move around in sparkpeople, so I've given up on doing anything at work, which explains why I've been quiet the last few days.

Haven't tracked any daily goals either. This weekend will be a rest weekend for my foot to see how it does, and next week I'll have to work a little each night to pack for vacation. Haven't slept great last few nights, which saps energy, so I will try to make up for that over the next few nights coming.

Tonight I had planned to work through some of my paper file, but after a spark meeting, and writing my blog now, I'm not up to it anything other than some more reading.. So, I'll read for 1.5 and get a good night's sleep...
