I suck at goal reaching. I can set them just fine but I never reach any. I am lazy? Unmotivated? No, just unsure of how to proceed. I have read the SP articles on goal setting and still don't get how to reach them. I want to lose 50 lbs. OK, 10 at a time. I am gaining 1/2 here and 1 there. Makes no sense to me at all. I have begun eating so much more healthy, I drink water, gave up soda. What the heck is the issue? Is it just that I slack on exercise? Help!!!! I need some help here.

    Just some thoughts:
    A goal is just a goal unless you have a plan as to how you will get there. What is your plan? "Eating so much more healthy." How much more? Are you using the nutrition tracker to log all eating? Are you planning ahead for the day's eating? Are you meeting calorie and nutritional goals every day? Are you planning to meet such goals every day (like 3 times a week this week to 4 times a week next week and so on)?

    I hate to "exercise" such as use a treadmill, stationary bike, etc. But I love it when my garden looks good, so I have taken up gardening as my exercise. I feel so good when a bed is weeded, or when I plant something new. What do you like to do? Walk with your dog, play with your children, ride a bike. Make a plan to do it regularly, start with 2 times a week, and build from there.

    As I said at first, these are just my thoughts. You need to be creative for YOU! God bless and may success shine through!
