Chia Seeds and Nuts: Protein!

They really help with protein intake I noticed! Plus yum as well! Only problem is: they are very high in oil, so I end up with a too high oil intake LOL

    I got them from the healthfood store, maybe some supermarkets have them too.

    I tried making some once by soaking the seeds overnight in coconut milk - they soaked up all the water from it and it became chai coconut cream!! Then someone at work had the brilliant idea of having it with strawberries, so I got some big fat strawberries and had them halved with a dollop of the chai cream on top. It was just lovely with the very sweet strawberries! :)

    I keep meaning to try it again, but this time soaking in pineapple juice with a little coconut milk/cream, hopefully to make a pina colada chia pudding.

    I like it too! My friend said you can also make pudding with chia, sounds interesting, maybe with fruit so it's not necessary to add sugar?

    I added chia seads to my oatmeal for the first time today, and I liked them.

    The chia? From a healthfood store, they got many different brands, I got the white chia to try out
