I had 5 meals today.

I ate 5 times today for the first time and my grand total was almost right at
1500 calories, I could even guess a little over since I can't be totally sure
about the balsamic dressing.

I had my best carb day, and good protein day as well. If all of them are like
today that will be very interesting. I just finished off with two pears, and oddly
I am still hungry via the tummy groans though not sure what to eat. Don't feel
like a salad and not up for cooking.

My roommate offered my a box of those 12 package vending machine crackers
I turned him down and then we read the calories on them together. One pack of vending machine crackers, like the orange ones with peanutbutter has 48 carbs and 24g of fat and that is per 3 crackers so two serving per that little thing. No thanks.

I guess I will just stay hungry or maybe get an ice pop.

    Maybe next time you are hungry (yay for the ice pop!!) have a nice hot tea or sugar free hot chocolate. I love hot green tea (which has loads of good things in it!) with Stevia or honey. Takes me a while to sip it and makes me feel full! Good for you for reading the labels! Took me forever to get in that habit, but it's a GREAT habit to have! Woo Hoo for you, babe! :) *smooch*

    Takes alot of practice and reading labels. Im so proud of u for your will power and told your roommate no to the crackers!!!

    There are some real healthy crackers out there, and laughing cow cheese u can spread on them :) MUCH HEALTHIER! A wedge of laughing cow cheese is just 35 calories. Just think how yummy that could be, a healthier version of crackers and cheese, or pb.

    Being hungry isnt bad.

    We are SO pressured to SNACK SNACK SNACK and never feel even a twinge of hunger.

    If you are used to eating loads, your stomach will shrink over the next few months as it gets used to smaller portions.

    Hot drinks are nice, even super low calorie soups like miso (but loads sodium in that).
