Did I Cheat ?

Wednesday, August 17, 2011

It has been almost a week and a half since I have felt "full". At the moment I am almost there. I measured out 2 cups of my roommates Hamburger Helper beef and tomato stuff and then had a medium sized potato. I did not add butter or salt just mashed it all together and for the first time in 4 days my stomach is not growling, in fact as I sit here I am starting to feel full.

Does that mean I cheated ? I already added the nutrition tracker and I am still way under what they told me to eat at. I can not believe that some hamburger mac and a potato totally did me in.

All I see in my brain is "CARBS"... Now I am worried I am gonna spike bad, though for the moment I just feel content. Odd how one week this would be a snack and now it feels like "Thanksgiving Dinner".

Great News X that you feel full. That is a blessing.

Watch that you don't undereat your calorie range too much. The calories recommended fuel your body and won't send it into "starvation" mode. I am sure someone on Spark can tell you more about that. I don't want to give you any miss-information.

Chin Up. It's a new day and you are doing great!

I don't think you cheated if you were within your calorie count. I do WW and stay within my points watching portion size. I don't feel I cheat when I am within my points. emoticon

Nooooooooo way, you didn't cheat at all :) True, the potato might spike you a bit, mixed with the hamburger helper (it prob had some sort of pasta also), but feeling full is a good thing. Being content AND it fit in your calorie range for today? That's awesome! Smile... good job! XO

Baked Potatoes are one of my FAVORITE things to eat, i love potatoe anything lol. There are good carbs and bad carbs, its good to have good carbs once in a while like baked potatoes, they hold nutrients that are bodies need. Its a heavier carb as well which will be heavier on your stomach and make u feel more full.
Like whole wheat bread, is better for you then white bread, because its made of more natural nutrients.

I hope you can find things that make you feel "fuller" longer. Its hard to try to find things your body can feel good with.
Although oatmeal is not my FAVORITE breakfast ive noticed i feel fuller longer and less shaky by the time i eat again.

Your doing great, keep up the good work!

I hear you. It is always a surprize to me when I see the calorie count and I think " that can't be right". It does get better but the cravings are very hard to control. Good Luck.
