Great first week. With the exception of Friday’s cheat dinner, the rest of the week’s meals were stellar! Lots of fruits/veggies, taking in my protein, lots of water, no bad starchy carbs. Go me!

Week 2 did all scheduled workouts even though, I had to double up on Sunday for being a lazy bum on Saturday. Just one of those days things didn’t go as planned, which translates into a couple bad food choices. But I made up for it- DAMN GOOD on the following day. And my boss came out to run with me. A first for me to run with a buddy and her longest run on the road to date. Yay for spreading the running spark.

Week 3 is in progress…. I’m going strong. Feeling good and confident. In addition to training for the Divas Half Marathon in November and doing the P90X strength workouts, I am working towards another mini-goal: a fitness photo shoot in September by none other than my sister. She’s a trained photographer and took my first pics in January. I can’t wait to do it again- especially to see the changes, and of course have fun!!
