I read some of the success stories. One of the bloggers had this long long rant on her page that was anti- 8 cups a day. https://sparkpeo.hs.llnwd.net/e1/myp
A lot of what she wrote is common sense and good, but that got me thinking- why 8 cups a day?
For me the Goal of 8 cups will be something I continue to strive for because...
1) I was drinking my calories. Yep, sip after sip of sweet calories.
2) I was eating more- maybe I thought I was hungry, when I was really just thirsty.
3) resetting habits with water helps. The drinking water habit- calorie free and easy to fix.
The Britta pitcher is in the fridge. I keep a glass with me throughout the day. I sip instead of mindless snacking. I try to keep the flavored drinks for meal times only.
On another note- with all this water and greatly reduced caffeine intake, I'm having a bitch of a headache.... I really want a big soda, or mocha, or something... Must be strong...
