My running is changing - for the better!

    Thank you! The weight has got to be a contributing factor - also I'm wondering if the plant-based diet is helping at all...
    I was terrified my first time swimming at La Jolla Cove - I have come to enjoy it with a tinge of caution - swimming with people that had been going there for years REALLY improved my confidence there! Plus the fact that there are so many ppl in the water helps me too... I love challenging myself to get over my brain and just get out there and swim!

    Great progress! I find I run faster as I lose weight. Could that be contributing? I loved your swimming with the sea lions!! Someday I want to go swim there. I'm usually too scared to swim very far out in open water, but that sounds so idyllic!

    Thanks! To be honest it feels kinda like a fluke that my times are getting faster - like my brain doesn't want to believe that I can actually be that fast?? Maybe if I stay where I'm at I'll get more used to the idea lol
