40 kms and clothes that fit!

I had a nice weekend filled with activity. Friday we stayed at home and relaxed, and on Saturday morning DH and I met up with some friends and biked along the Lachine Canal again. We had a bbq at the end and cooked up some sausage and veggies, and all in all we biked 40 km (24.85 miles). It's such a beautiful bike ride, and it's a great way to get a lot of exercise while having fun with friends.
Sunday was our 1 yr wedding anniversary, so we walked to Garde Manger, Chef Chuck Hughes' restaurant (he recently beat Bobby Flay on Iron Chef). We had a really nice meal, and a nice day together.

I went over my calories twice this week, but with the extra 1000 calories I burned on that bike ride, I'm not going to be too hard on myself. I was around 2000 calories for both of my "over" eating days, so I'll just have to be careful this week.

I tried on my autumn coat the other day to see if it needed any button reinforcing/ dry cleaning, and it fits me wonderfully. It was a bit tight before, but now it looks amazing. I also wore a skirt on our anniversary dinner that I haven't fit into for a long time. Yay!
