I was always looking for the quick fix for weight loss. What I was doing was a lot of talking and very little doing. I will be honest enough to say I was planning to fail. I wanted to get to certain size for an event or lose X lbs before I saw my family next. Once the event was over and the visitors gone I would go right back to the old me. It did not work because my heart was not in it. I found that I must encourage, a support and respect the person I spend 24/7 with. Food was a numbing agent since I did not value myself. Margaret Thatcher said "You may have to fight a battle more than once to win it." For 25 years I put this weight on and kept add to it. Sometimes, I think this is going to thing is going to slow. Reality is at an average weight loss of 1-2 per week I have minimum of 40+ week to Goal. My next size down is the one I wore in the 8th grade. I am looking forward to so many things to celebrate along the way. Slowly is the way to appreciate the journey. Life is good! Treat yourself right. emoticon

So true!! emoticon 25 years to put it on (that is my time-frame as well), I should give my efforts more than a couple months to take it back off!
