3 Weeks Later...

With being so busy preparing for my upcoming move in a couple of weeks, I really haven't been able to workout the last few weeks. I've still been pretty active though. Getting this place ready for a move is alot of work especially since we've been in the same apartment for almost four years, which is a long time for us since we're use to moving every couple of years. The movers are coming in a couple of days to get our furniture and then its lots of painting and sleeping on air mattresses til the 30th. Then we finish packing, pack both our vehicles, get the rugs cleaned, turn in our keys, get a hotel for the night and leave the morning of the 31st for a 23hr drive to NC (broken up within 2-3days). We should arrive sometime Labor Day weekend, where there will be a big cookout with family and friends all welcoming us with open arms.
I was able to run 2mi last Friday and 3mi this morning. Nothing has really changed for my weigh-in/tape. I only gained 4oz, a 1/2in on my waist and .4% body fat but I managed to lose a 1/2in on my thighs. All in all I'm still doing good, which I know is mostly from sticking with a pretty healthy diet.
In other news, my son had his follow-up appointment last Friday for his par planitis and his vision was 20/20 from 20/30, his pressure was 13/13 from 18/18 (normal range 10-21), the inflammation in his left eye is a little better and for his right eye a little worse but no treatment at this time. He'll be having a follow-up appointment in 3 months in NC. Please continue to keep him in your prayers. We still have a few more years until he outgrows this disease. Thank you.
