Because I let myself go...again.
In June of 09, I had had enough and started moving. A year later I ran a 50K and was the leanest I had been through running and Clean Eating. But maintaining my fitness and health had become a full-time job. A lot had to be cleared from my plate in order to fit in the "look after myself" duties. Wrong, I know. Striking balance is hard to impossible, it seems.
Last August, I suffered a couple of heartbreaking losses and for a year now I have been pacifying myself with food and zero motivation to move.
I have been watching the scale creep effortlessly back up and the inches accumulate.
A few weeks back, my best friend from college and a fitness colleague of mine reconnected through Facebook and was going on about how she is the leanest, most energetic and healthiest she has ever been in her life. She was plugging IsaGenix and she has done superb on the program.
So, feeling the urge to purge the doldrums, the excess weight and get back into life, I joined her.
I am not really one for the "shake for a meal substitute" idea, but understanding how hard it is to get good nutrition into yourself regularly, I figured this could work for me. I am on the road traveling to dog shows for a living. It is really hard to maintain a healthy lifestyle while in that routine. Really hard. I am beginning to think that by having IsaGenix products on hand, I might just be able to reach my goal weight again, stay fit and healthy all while on the road. This could be the answer for me...or at least a big piece of the puzzle.
Time will tell. This program has me taking measurements on days 1, 8 and 30. I will share my progress with you all through my blogs.
I am starting Day 2 today. I feel a bit gurgly in my guts...the "cleansing" has begun. I felt less bloated in bed last night. I slept well. I awoke excited to begin my second Isagenix day. Everything tastes good!
