Still figuring out Paleo

I think I'm stressing myself out too much with this whole paleo thing. I'm definitely still overthinking it, stressing out about meals. I mean, for so long meals included a grain. Breakfast was dairy and grain based. How do you change that after basically defining a meal this way for 31 years?

You do it in baby steps, that's how. And by putting future meals in the food tracker. That way I make sure that I'm getting the right nutrients and the right amount of calories.

So I've got Monday-Thursday meals partially figured out... except for Tuesday night. That's my late night. It's usually a cereal night. Yep. I get home from work around 8:30, eat a bowl of cereal or yogurt and watch TV with the husband until it's time for bed. Gotta figure out something small-ish to eat or just completely change my eating pattern for Tuesdays.

So far black coffee isn't too terrible. And because it's not cut with milk, I'm not drinking as much of it. That's a good thing, right?

    Snacks are about the hardest part of it--stash some quick veggies, fruits, nuts...
    Breakfast is also tricky, but there are a thousand things you can do with eggs. Smoked salmon is also fantastic!
    My lazy dinners used to be cereal or macaroni...now they're sashimi or salad.

    Don't overthink it...ease in if you have to...and keep your fridge full of veggies and your freezer full of meat. Makes it much easier :) GOOD LUCK!
