A good start to the day with water aerobics.

I slept longer than anticipated this morning and then didn't get out of bed right away. Instead I gave Snickers some attention this morning. He was so good last night when he realized I was tired he went to the end of the bed and left me alone!!

It was a good night. I fell asleep fast and stayed asleep all night. Those are the good nights for me!!
I went to the Y this morning. Did water aerobics for 35 minutes and then sat a very short while in the hot tub. The shower felt good and it was a good way to start my day.
I am volunteering this morning and then we will have my birthday lunch at PLUK. It will be healthy and delicious. We get to pick what we want when it is our birthday. I picked fruit, turkey meat from the deli, and some wheat rolls. I didn't want to be too demanding. Sheryl will decide what kind of fruit and how much to buy as with the turkey. I didn't ask for cheese...I don't eat it much. She might buy it, because it is lunch for the whole office and there are those who still eat it. The office staff isn't very big in the summer...I think there will be 6 of us eating today. Anyway, it will be good and I didn't have to figure out something to bring from home!!
I am volunteering today for about 4 hours. I hope I can make it that long!! I am really hurting today. I thought the water and hot tub would help, but it didn't take away the pain at all. I need to continue to exercise...maybe go tomorrow morning to water at 5:45 am. I know that is early and it is my birthday, but it is so good for me and I won't be going on Saturday this week. I am helping with the NAMI bike ride.
We are trying to find a place to hold the NAMI Peer to Peer class. We hope to be able to have one starting in September. It will be in the evening..not my best time. Oh well, I will make sure I get enough sleep and perhaps a nap the day of the class. It is a 10 week class and it will be good. It will be my first time teaching it. I am a bit nervous, but I was about the training and that went really well.
Well, I need to get busy with my day. I have a lot to do today and not much time!! Have a great day and remember...it is what you make it!!
