I drank my coffee black this morning. You see, Paleo doesn't allow dairy, and I always have milk in my coffee. I stopped adding sugar a few years ago (unless I get one of those Starbucks calorie bombs). I made the coffee a little weaker this morning so that I wouldn't HAVE to cut it with milk. It was OK. Not my favorite, but drinkable.
Looking at this Paleo thing, lunch and dinner seem easy enough. As with any part of eating a specific way, dinner is by far the easiest of the 3 meals because I'm home to cook and I'm not in a rush. Breakfast is what has me worried.
It's hard for my brain to get past the typical definition of breakfast. You know: something heavy on the grain side with a bit of protein added and a side of fruit. And it doesn't seem as though anything I can come up with is as quick and easy as a bowl of cereal. I guess I'll just have to play and figure out what works for me.
That's really the whole point of trying Paleo. Experimenting to see what works for me.
