It's been way too long since I posted a blog. I have been living life, but missing SparkPeople a lot. I feel torn between my regular life and my spark life. I know it's not good to spend too much time online, but my regular life wouldn't be as great as it is, if it weren't for SP. It is the number one tool I use in my healthy living journey. Everyone here is awesome. I have received so much motivation and support from all of you. I try to give some of that back, but I haven't been doing much of that, lately. I feel like I've abandoned all of you, and I hate that.

I especially feel bad for falling so short with my Motivational Captain duties on the Purple Stars BLC 18 team. It is really an awesome team, and I had great intentions to be supportive of all my teammates. My limited internet time, has caused me to be a big failure at it, though. I apologize to all of my team members, and especially my fellow captains. You deserve so much better, and I'm truly sorry. You are all amazing, though. Keep up the great work! The challenge will be over before we know it. Let's finish strong!

Being away from SP isn't entirely my fault. It is hard to find time when I can use someone's computer, when they aren't using it. Being home more would help that, but I also don't want to be sitting around all the time. It's funny to think that way, now. I used to sit around for hours at a time. The only time I got up, was when I HAD to do something. I watched way too much TV, and I spent a ton of time online.

I can't get that time back, but I can make the best of the time I have, now. I can spend my time doing things...doing life. I love that phrase. I don't know how many of you have heard of Ben Davis, and the Do Life Movement, but if you haven't, you should check it out. Ben is a great writer, funny, and has motivated me to be active.

When I first heard about Ben, a few months ago, I spent a couple of weeks reading his blog from the beginning. Now, I check it a couple of times a week, and catch up with what is going on with him. I also go to Ben's blog, when I need some motivation to get up and move. I really wanted to go to one of his 5K's, but I had to work on the days that he was close to where I live.

To learn more about him, watch this video, called My 120 pound journey: www.youtube.com/watch?v=

You can also check out his blog here: bendoeslife.tumblr.com/ Click on beginnings to check out his story from the start.

I hope you find Ben's video and blog as inspiring as I do. SparkPeople is the key to my success, but Ben has been a big help, too. I was trying to come up with a tool joke there, but I'm too tired. You'd understand why, if you had read his blog. LOL

Well, since I'm so tired, I should probably go to bed. I hope you are all doing well! I miss you! Have a WONDERFUL WOO HOO WEDNESDAY! :)

Talk to you later!

I've seen this video actually. I guess I didn't realize he had a full blog though. I should really check it out.

Don't worry about letting people down. As long as you're staying on track and can manage staying on track away from SP, then that's what counts! Not to say we don't miss you, because we do. :D

We all have those times where life causes SparkPeople to take a back burner.....the most important thing is that we keeping moving forward in our journeys and come back to SP when we can! I know I am not doing well when I am avoiding SP. Not when I am too busy to be here, but sometimes I will just avoid it so as to not face how I am currently doing.

I am going to check out that blog, thanks for the link!
