Dear Self:

You haven't even started eating Paleo yet and you're already overthinking it. Seriously. you're freaking yourself out trying to figure out all the "rules" for this thing. And trying to figure out what "counts" as what.

OK Danie the rules are:
Eat lean protein
Eat lots of veggies
Eat some fruit
Eat healthy fats
Eat whole, unprocessed foods
Don't eat grains
Don't eat dairy
Don't eat legumes
Don't eat sugar
Don't eat salt

Simple. Stop thinking so hard. Find some recipes that look like they'll be tasty. It's easy enough to do with all the awesome blogs out there. Add the ingredients to your shopping list and go with it.

Don't forget that Wednesdays are date nights. Do the best you can. Don't make DH feel bad for suggesting a difficult restaurant.

Pack lunches and snacks. You did that even without Paleo style eating. It's not hard and it will save you money.

August 22 is your anniversary. You are allowed to eat 1 lemon/lemon and 1 chocolate/coffee cupcake. You are allowed to have a glass of wine. Try to make healthy choices for the rest of the day and go with it.

You can do it. You can teach your husband to do the same.
