Saw this on Justdoitnow's page

1.) How old are you?

2.) How long have you been overweight, obese, or unfit?

My physical activity became limited when I was 11. The cartilage in my right hip disolved, then the hip tilted. They fused it..... it wasn't however until I gave birth to my second child in 1993 that I became OBESE. my Oldest child was just 13 months old when my baby arrived. My husband made a "mistake" in our marriage and I became depressed. that was 18 years ago... Our kids have now graduated and My husband and I have made it for 20 years.................

3.) What made you decide to get healthy?

My desire to get new hips and my desire to be able to play with my grandchildren someday.

4.) Has anyone ever made rude/mean comments to you about how you look?

Oh I think many people have without even trying. I've also noticed that the women who are in better shape seem to get further in the work place!

5.) What do you hate the most about your current/starting size?

Grunting when I bend over, Getting on the floor and dreading getting up. The weight also makes my bad hips worse!

6.) What was your favorite unhealthy food before?

Burgers, Mashed potatos and Brownies!

7.) What's some of your favorite healthy foods now?

Brocolli, carrots, Snap Peas!

8.) What is the hardest part of this journey?

My husband isn't interested in healthy foods so I have to avoid his stuff lol

9.) What does your workout regime consist of?

I hit the gym Monday- Friday. I do anywhere from 30-80 minutes of Cardio, Mon-wed-fri I do circuit training!

10.) What do you want everyone to know about you?

I get bored, So for me it's not easy to keep up a routine. My hips are bad so not all exercise is easy. However, I don't ever allow my hips to be an excuse for why I don't try something or why i don't push on..... I need this for me! I'm doing this for me! I want to be proud of me!
