Being aware of calories from the nutrition tracker helped me avoid the donut shop today. No soda grab or junk food for me at the grocery store, although my husband grabbed his honey buns and chips.. I can avoid them..
I got fresh fruit - boy have the cost of fruit soared. I'll be glad when our apple tree and pear trees are ready. I like my kitchen little scale - it helps me better portion control and track my intake. Pretty handy device, although my husband laughs at me measuring things. I got a cheap dvd player so I can exercise in the basement - I'm more likely to exercise by myself than in front of my husband - maybe when I get skinner I can bounce in front of him with a little more dignity.. emoticon
For those that have done the roller coaster diets, I hope with Spark people you are learning it is a lifestyle change that can last.. There are no bad foods, just portion and track on the web site. Every pound lost is a successful step on this journey. Good luck and God bless

    Yeah, saw somewhere on the TV that eating healthy was much more expensive with the fresh fruits and veggies. Keep tracking-it definitely helps me!

    Gotta love having fruit trees on your property, We have apples, pears, peaches, blueberries, strawberries and grapes...all of which the deer enjoy as much as we do!
