Still Going

Thursday, August 04, 2011

So I haven't blogged in a couple of days...just forgot to yesterday...I am still going, my hubby and I took the day together Tuesday, so I moved my day off to adjust. I am not going to ruin anything so here I am still going!

Yesterday I realized something...Insanity, like running, and I am sure most workouts are so mental! Last week during one workout, I completed the entire warm up and did it really well...well, after that I took a couple of breaks. They aren't breaks for nothing, I am seriously panting! But yesterday, I discovered what it means to dig deep...I wanted to take a break, but I kept pushing through it. When the warm up was ended, I thought to myself "why don't I always do this"...good question!! It is all in your head! So today during my workout I pushed again and didn't take any breaks during the warm up. I have actually gotten to the point that I only take a few breaks in the actual workout and it is when I can tell my form is slipping and my back is starting to hurt (like those dern level 1 and 2 drills!).

So anyway, I am not perfect but I am still going and still pushing. I know there are lots of people who rock this video way better than me, but at the same time I am getting stronger each day and I am at least doing it! I still wish I had my HRM fixed to know how much I am burning, but it has to be a great burn from the amount of sweat!

I am sticking with it this time....hope you are too!! emoticon

Wooohoo! You are right, so much of any workout is mental and it sounds like you are getting much stronger both physically AND mentally - that's great! Keep it up!
