So I'd been doing amazing. Lost 13 lbs in 7 weeks - unheard of for me. And then the weight started going up. I weigh myself every morning. I understand about water weight and fluctuations and didn't worry that first morning it went up. But then it kept going up for the next 5 days.
I took a deep breath and reviewed. I had let my cardio sessions slip from 5 a week to 2 or 3. My eating had been getting sloppy.
At that point, a minor miracle occurred - at least for me. I didn't say, "What the heck. I may as well eat myself into oblivion." I actually decided I would immediately get my cardio sessions back to 5 a week and tighten up my eating. The weight was up again the next day - making a backslide of 3 lbs - not really much. However in the past, it was enough to torpedo me. Since then it's come down each morning and this morning I was a half pound lower than when the line was going in the wrong direction.
YEAH ME! This is the start of my new habit of not overreacting and getting back on track.
