Day 2

Okay, so I did good on food again. A little low on protein, so I gotta work on that, but otherwise it was good.

I woke up with a migraine and my back hurting, so I did not exercise this AM. I"m thinking about doing some ST tonight...but not sure if I want to do it. I hate that I am so lazy and unwilling to do what needs to be done for my good health!! Frustrating!!!

On a positive note, my youngest son decided to start potty training this past weekend, and boy is he a champ!! :-) He has only had one accident since Saturday, and I am so PROUD of that little bugger...I mean....kid! emoticon Now I know he is ready for preschool, which is the only reason I was stressing about him doing it in the first place!

Life is a beautiful thing, and It is ridiculous that I have wasted 35 years of this wonderful life! I'm going to continue to make it great and do it right tomorrow, and the next day and the next day....

    Way to go about your little boy, that is awesome!

    I did my ST yesterday and it felt good - I didn't feel like I was going to collapse the whole time. I was reading about ST in the forums and I read something that I found amazing. A lady asked for someone to help give her some motivating advice to help her want to do strength training and make it fun, and another lady said something about how brushing your teeth and showering aren't fun but you do them anyway because they aren't optional. They are things you have to do in order to be healthy and you do them even though they aren't fun. Strength training is the same and we should think of it the same way - it may not always be fun but it's necessary and not optional to get and stay healthy. I thought this was a fabulous way to look at it!

    Go do it! You will feel better for it!

    You can do this. My motto is one day at a time. I can only do the best I can do this day. I am proud that you came back and are trying again. emoticon
