Space Coast marathon week 1 training report

So this week it was back to business.
My training plan called for 3 miles on Tuesday, 5 miles on Wednesday, 3 miles on Thursday and 8 on Saturday.
I am pleased to say that I completed each of my training runs!!
My pace on Wednesday and Saturday were slower than I would have liked but my legs were not quite used to all this running in one week or running 3 days in a row, so I forgive them for not running faster, lol!
I had planned on hitting the gym for my ST but never made it. I did get to swim laps on Saturday though. I am planning on swimming twice a week if I can because there is a aquathlon in August that I really want to do. It's a 1k run, 1k swim and 5k run. I am so excited about it!!
Mary (lightningrunner) was kind enought to copy her Supreme 90 workouts so I will start those on the first of the month as my ST. I still plan on attending at least 1 of the 2 spin classes at the Y and also adding in my laps in the pool 2 days a week. I am hoping with this work out schedule that I will be able to get my weight back on the move. I was plateaud for over a year and then gained 10lbs because my thyroid went all crazy again. My goal was and is to lose the last 30lbs by my next marathon on November 27th.
Despite missing my ST this week, I am going to say that week 1 was a success!!
Now...On to week 2!! WAHOOOO!
