Amid the chaos

Saturday, July 30, 2011

I just had to pay nearly $400 for a set of new tires. Ouch. Well at least my A/C is still holding on since my cousin came and worked on it. Praise the Lord. When it rains, it pours. I just hope whatever money is left is still there on Monday morning when the markets open. Who knows with all the chaos going on in Washington, D.C. Hopefully something will be passed by then to give our debtors confidence in our country's government and economy.

Now how exactly did I manage to post so many copies of my last blog. Silly silly.

Hang in there sweetie. Whenever you say car repairs, by the time you add in labor cost, it means money! Thank goodness they tend not to be monthly costs. emoticon And all I can say is pray where DC is concerned...lol!

Wow, I should feel so lucky that we haven't had any major car repairs on our 2003 Kia in a while.. (only 115,000 km on it) I hate even having to pay for an oil change.

Guess I haven't been following the news lately, don't know what's going on in Washington, will it affect us up here in Canada too? I know dh just said our FP emailed him something about the stuff going on down there, must catch up.
