The pictures I am not sorry to show

Saturday, July 30, 2011

I was too tired to post these with my sorry excuse blog.

Here are the pictures from our week.

Danny (front left), Josh, then the distractions, I mean girls, - Dan's girlfriend Alice is the one with dark hair front right.
Josh, Danny, and Alice did a bit of the yard work, though Josh did the most, followed by a reluctant Danny.

Down time in the evening watching movies (or in Danny's case, listening to music)

The work accomplished.

Taking the hardware off the old door. Now the new door needs to be put on the Garage.

Lawn by Dan, Major weeding and weedwacking by Josh, and patio de-weeding by Alice.

Ron supervising the door just minutes before we needed to drive Josh back to RI. A couple hours before, they cut the legs down on our bed!

How really lovely our back yard is looking. A nice place for me to relax!

Our front porch ready for me to enjoy after surgery!

Another view of the front porch.

Then one day, Ron and I were playing with our food - this is his plate.

This is mine.

This is the crochet bag I just finished. It is just the right size to hold my netbook computer, though I am not sure if I will use it for that. I want to make a cloth liner for the bag. I love how the variegated yarn looks like bargello needlepoint or even ikat weaving.

Josh, and Danny (my ds) - so thankful for what has been accomplished this week.

a quick shot taken one night last week - yes, still using the bone growth stimulator on my neck at night.

Have a great weekend.
These pictures go with my sorry excuse for a blog.

Fantastic work! Your son's friend is golden! He could take an example from that!
Love to see the photos! Such a nice relaxing area! I decided to spend my first two weeks after surgery at Mom's so I could enjoy her gorgeous yard in its last days. Her ferns are already turning black, and the geese are making more noise. She thinks we will have an early fall :( I will have to be back at the club in the third week as there are games I have to special report and send payment in from so then it will be easier for me to stay at my apartment. Will miss Mom's gorgeous yard and great care I am sure.
Have a peaceful and restful Sunday, you are looking great!
    Hugs,
    Linda

Is that an old sewing machine that your plants are on ?. Looks like the Singer one my Grandmother had.
I love you bag. That makes me want to get out my knitting needles or crochet hook and go to work.
    Take care .
