Back again, Fatter, Sicker and more Nearly Dead!

As of 7/7/11 back with SP tracking food and have actually lost a few pounds. Not doing much exercise yet but will be soon.
7/23 -- watched the movie, Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead and decided to dust off my juicer. It's old and was heavily used many years ago when I first tried juicing. Not sure how long I will keep it up. Certainly not the 60 days that Joe Cross accomplished but if I can do 10 days I will be happy. Then it will be back to the usual food tracking routine. I'm tracking the fruits and veggies that I'm juicing now but have to ignore the amount of fiber that my food tracker says I'm getting since the juicer takes all that out. I'm not doing it strictly according to the Joe Cross method either. I'm occasionally adding some protein powder to my juice and eat some whole fruit, yummy Oh Yeah! protein bars, a chicken breast but nothing else so far. No soda, no coffee, no energy drinks either. I probably won't get the same kind of results that Joe got but the important thing is that I'm tracking it all and keeping the calories, etc. within my ranges...and DEFINITELY getting more than enough vitamins and minerals! My knees are feeling better and I can see some walking in my not so distant future.
When I juiced years ago it made a huge difference....I felt so much better and my energy increased rapidly. Seems all these years later I'm not bouncing back like I used to and it's going to take longer to get the same results. It's going to take time. Keep kicking myself for not doing it more frequently and then stopping altogether. Kinda like when I first joined SparkPeople -- I got fantastic results just eating right and exercising but my sticktuitiveness was weak...
...now it's doing pushups!!
