So I did take Sunday as a rest day, which felt nice on my sore limbs...But man was it hard to push play on the DVD player today! I really think that taking the day off made it more difficult to get the motivation to do it today...I do love how I feel when I am done working out, but geesh I forgot the feeling in one day! I almost had myself convinced that I like being lazy more than I like the feeling after working out!
But dern it I made myself workout and I am glad I did. I really think that taking yesterday off made my legs feel more tired, I could barely move my legs during today's workout! I think the sluggish legs lent to a little too much impact on the knees, so I am hoping I will feel good as new tomorrow with no sore knees!
So, lesson learned...don't let your day off turn to a week off!
And btw...today's workout was tough, even though I did it last week...to let you know how tough, listen to this...during the video Shaun T asks a participant how she feels--her response "like Sh*t" and let me tell you...that's the truth!!
crummy note, no weight loss this week! I know I should focus more on inches and how I feel, but I was hoping for weight loss! I mean, I've made so many great changes that I have to lose some weight! I know I know it's only been a week, I will keep waiting! I am hoping my body is in shock since I haven't worked out like this in....well never! My only set back will be out trip out of town this weekend. Sunday is luckily my day off but I need recommendations for Saturday (we won't be home at all), do you think I should double up on Thursday or Friday to do my Saturday workout or should I just skip a day and alter my workout calendar and keep going when we get back??? Hmmm...
