I have not written in quite awhile - I think the heat affected my motivation to communicate. Thankfully it rained today. After church, I pulled weeds in the yard while the ground was wet for 2 hours (we have a big yard). It still was very hot! Finished laundry, ironed, and sewed all afternoon.

I was on vacation this last week and got a lot of things done. It will be hard going back to work after having the freedom to get so much done.

I entered a quilt and a tablerunner in the Jackson County Fair. The quilts are to be judged tomorrow afternoon. I hope that my daughter and I will be able to go to Holton to see everyone's quilt and projects.

I plan to work on my strength training and elliptical this week. I hope to lose 6 pounds by the middle of August. It could happen if I really watch the food and exercise.
