I think it's SOOO wonderful that you can put on and wear your Mom bracelet that your daughter made you. That truly is special and significant. She's getting her "mom" back. Congrats. Hang in there. You really will be in onederland in a blink. emoticon

@Hoofbeats95, we are very close. I begin my loading on July 3rd. My first VLCD was July 5th. So we are two days apart in our hCG age. :D For the pictures, I was counting from my first VLCD but for the vlog that starts for the diet itself. I was tired when I was doing the pictures and meant to do them from first day of the diet time. I actually didn't gain any weight from loading. I am doing 43 days on hCG because I am really wanting to get as close as I can to losing 40 pounds.

Oh and if you are going to be anywhere near Nashville, I would love to meet my almost twin day "sister". LOL. And this is Tennessee, which is Southern for "I will be as hot as I like".

We are so close to the exact same day. When you say day 22 is that from your first day of HCG or the first VLCD? I count days on the VLCD. So I will have 28 days on that with the HCG then 2 more with no injections. So I started the loading on July 1. I did that on the 1st and the 2nd. My first VLCD was July 3. So how close are we??? Also are you measuring weight loss from the day 1 of the VLCD or from the1st HCG. I'm measuring from the first VLCD. I took my highest weight after loading as my start weight. Though I think people say you should take it from the first day on HCG. But hello - we gain in loading. I want to know how much I lose on the actual diet portion and that's the VLCD. How many days are you doing? part of me wishes I could do 40 days, but I know that mentally I'm not ready. I'm already counting down. So 30 days it is! We have a trip in August and I need to be on P3 and well into it by then so I don't mess up. We are going to Tennessee actually! Can you make it cooler by that time? :) LOL

@SpecialGurl7 Yes, the pictures really do tell the story. I hate showing my big ole belly but I do believe in seeing is believing. Thanks for stopping by.

@ALICIAINBOSTON, Thanks for thinking of my vlog as cool. Quick results are nice but I know that when it's all done, that's when the real work will begin to make sure that I don't get quick gains. I have plans for during Phase 3 and 4 to workout a lot more with P90X and bellydancing as well as making sure my food intake is more like clean eating.

etc/etc, Thanks for the article. I have read similar things from other doctors. I just know that I have lowered my calories before but never had results like this. It may be hype. It may be power of suggestion. It may be that it's nothing at all. All I know is for *me* this works.

Now, I know that after I am done and at the weight I want to be at that I will have to maintain with exercise and eating a well balanced diet. I am not convinced that in the ideal that after Phase 4 the body weight is set.

And btw, thanks for being more respectful of my choice and not just bad mouthing like you usually do. :D

Dr. Andrew Weil is a respected authority on both traditional and alternative medicine, and he has some interesting things to say about this diet plan
