Napa to Sonoma Half Marathon

What a great experience and beautiful run! And not to mention lots of great wine!

The weather was so much better than the heat I've been training in here in Chicago. 60s and overcast the morning of the race.

I'm happy to report that my husband pushed me to run faster and I got a PR of 2 hours and 1 minute. I was really hoping to push it under 2 hours, but I'm happy with the results!

Onto the the next half - Chicago on September 11th. Back into the heat and flat lands....

Sounds great. I have never seen that part of the country. Always wanted too. I'm doing my first 1/2 in November in Scottsdale, AZ. It is a Women's Half for Susan G Komen's. Scared, but, excited too! 2 hours and 1 min sounds awesome. That's what I will shoot for! Yea for you!
