2 week progress update! WOOHOO!!

Hi SP friends! I haven't blogged much lately because I have been working 12 hour night shifts and sleeping all day. Tonight is my last night shift & then I am back on a day schedule next week, so hopefully I can get back to blogging more than once a week!

After my move from apartment to first home in March, I was not faithfully trying to maintain my weight loss and therefore gained back 5 lbs or so. My re-dedication my health started back 2 weeks ago & I am very pleased with my progress. I have been making HEALTHY choices about 90-90% of the time & consistently doing cardio & ST (alternating days mostly) for 2 weeks, and I can definitely feel it in my body! As an added bonus, I've dropped weight and inches AND I am back in my maintenance zone (on the high end, but there!). HOORAY!!!!

Starting stats: 7-6-11
Weight: 127.2
The following in inches:
Bust: 35
Under Bust: 30
Bicep: 11
Waist: 25.5
Hips: 38
Upper Thigh: 20.5
Calf: 13.5

2 week progress: 7-21-11
Weight: 124.6 (-2.6 lbs)
The following in inches:
Bust: 34.5 (-0.5)
Under Bust: 28 (-2)
Bicep: 10.5 (-0.5)
Waist: 25 (-0.5)
Hips: 37 (-1)
Upper Thigh: 20.5 (-0)
Calf: 13.5 (-0)

TOTAL: Down 2.6 lbs & 4.5 inches!

SO EXCITED for progress! The first couple of weeks are always the hardest for me.

On the down side, I think I have strained my knees from a mix of cardio, ST, and being active @ work, so I am taking a couple days off and going to focus on abs & upper body ST. I don't want to injure myself!

    Congrats! Seems that you're lossing consistently and not so dramatic, so I think what you've been doing right now is a good, healthy & smart way to keep lossing, AWESOME!

    emoticon Maintaining is the hardest part, so you have done REALLY well. So happy for you. Working third shift is difficult. Just make sure when u sleep during the day to wear a mask and keep the room DARK. Use ear plugs if you must to keep out the noise. I worked 3rd shift as a nurse and my husband thought since I was home during the day, that I could just get everthing done as though I wasn't working. Well, it doesn't work that way. emoticon
