Bloodwork results

Wednesday, July 20, 2011

My doctor's office just called me with the results of my bloodwork they took yesterday. Everything is ok except I am vitamin D deficient. I need to take Vitamin D3 2000 units daily. Evidently I'm not getting as much sun as I thought.

My total cholesterol was 162. Triglycerides 105, HDL 34 & LDL 107. Anyone have any suggestions on how to increase HDL?

I think exercise is supposed to increase HDL as well.
