So Friday I had an awesome day. It rounded out my fifth day of tracking my food, one of my biggest challenges. I stayed in my goal range too.

I had some big fails the rest of the weekend though. I still had good things going on, but anyways here we go....

What did you accomplish this weekend?

I spent time with my family. I cooked. I gamed. I went to a fabulous party. I got a run in. I prepared for the wrong Sunday at church for my cantering and did an excellent job sight reading the correct Sunday.

What is one thing you are forgiving yourself for, that you did this weekend, and how are you going to fix it?

I am going to forgive myself for eating poorly. I am going to fix it by tracking my food all week, even Saturday when I have the 17 miler. Sunday too. I am going to give myself a higher calorie range all week to prep for the 17 miler. This will help me stay good also. It won't be as much of a struggle.

Can you match or surpass what you accomplished last week?

My goal is to majorly surpass my fitness minutes this week. But that is almost a given with the long run on Saturday. I also am going to track for 7 days this week, not 5. I am going to stay under 1800 calories each day. I am going to have one day of 1400 calories. This is higher then last weeks goal (1200-1600 range) however, I am trying to preload my food for the 17 miler in hopes that I don't become ravenous after it.

What is something you are excited about that is happening soon?

I'm excited for Gen Con coming up in two weeks and that same weekend I get to do my first sprint tri by myself!!! I haven't registered for it yet, but I'm training and I will register after pay day. I'm excited to go camping the following week too!

Name three things that you will use for motivation this week.

The Tri Indy.
A new pair of skinny leg khakis if I do good this week.
My future flat tummy.

Name one thing you will NOT do this week.

Eat ice cream (except maybe skinny cow.)

This week, my brain and my body and I are going to work together to get us ready to race.

Bonus: drink nothing but water!!!

:( I don't want to not drink my coffee. And I will need some Gatorade for the 17 miler. No bonus points for me. But I still will not drink out of these parameters.
