Week 1: Back on the Workout Wagon

Last week was a success!
I made 3 trips to the gym. Monday night attended a "Drills to Make you Sweat" class. Wednesday night I attended Zumba. Friday night I did over 2 miles on the elliptical followed by 5 miles on a bike. Outside of the gym, I even played an hour of Dance Central on Tuesday. These workouts have not only increased my drive and motivation to reach my goals, they have also helped increase my energy levels and my mood (for the most part anyway).
I weighed in this morning, to find that even though I didn't focus much on what I was eating (yes ice cream and birthday cake were included in my diet more than once). My workouts were beneficial. I lost 2 pounds!!!
This success has increased my focus on reaching my goals and becoming healthier. This week I have reintroduced myself to tracking my food via sparkpeople and am happy to report that so far today I have stayed on track. I even have dinner and another snack planned into today's meals.
I am ready to make this baby weight disappear once and for all!
