Heavy Cleaning???

I have been counting heavy cleaning on my activity log but I do wonder about it. Just what did they use to decide what is "heavy cleaning". Is it moping and vacuuming but not folding clothes or washing dishes. I am posting this as I am not sure where I might find the answer and hope that someone will stop by with the answer or point me in the right direction. For now I keep it minimal figuring if I condense it down that is what I might have done heavily. Any thoughts please let me know and thanks in advance for the comments and/or advise. emoticon

    For me I count it as heavy cleaning if my heart rate goes up and stays up for the entire time.

    I have been wearing a Bodybugg since January and found that I burn more calories putting away laundry than doing a heavy weight workout at the gym.

    I hope that you didn't mind that I took you question and reposted it in my blog so that it would appear on other teams that I was on. I got a few replies. You might get some insight into what others are doing by checking them out too.

    I guess that I do somewhat like you were doing. For instance I had to clean the carpet yesterday. There is a good bit to that but not all of it is heavy. I guess about what percentage of that would be heavy cleaning and then give myself that time.

    Maybe this will help you some to see what others are doing.

    This is a very good question. I will follow this for a while as I too am interested in the various answers. emoticon
    I count heavy cleaning as those times that I am physically very active, moving a lot like mopping, vacuuming, carrying clothes to the clothes line, cleaning out the attic or other area that I must move stuff around, getting ready for a yard sale, rearranging furniture. I have used it for several things that I couldn't figure out what category to put them in, but I knew that I had burned the calories
