29lbs down

Sunday, July 17, 2011

Well I am 29lbs down... 1lb away from a milestone :D Hoping I can kick that 1 lb to the curb by Monday :D I am still doing great with the food portion of my diet and mentally I feel like I am tackling this its just the working out part I am having a problem with. When I do workout I am so sore the next couple days afterwards especially in my pelvic area I think its bc I had two kids back to back within 2 years. But still I want to keep working at it and conquer this. I know its a journey it has been a journey for most of my adult life well let me rephrase that it has been a roller coaster but that has been because I am an emotional eater. Things go south and I would head for the food. But I no longer feel like the food can control me I control what I put in my mouth therefore I can control what I eat. I need that same determination in my workouts. I want it so badly. I want to be my skinny self so bad I can taste it I can even SEE IT. Even though I still am 71lbs away from my "goal weight" I do feel it IS POSSIBLE IT IS ATTAINABLE If I just keep at it keep pushing and put in the work I will get there. And I am looking forward to it. :) I don't love love my curves right now or well lets face it my rolls lol but I can appreciate them because I have given birth to 3 beautiful girls the first one 11 and 1/2 years ago and the other two within the last two years. :) I earned this body that I have and now I am ready to continue the FIGHT for the body I WANT!! [AND DESERVE]

Got the new Oxygen Magazine today [August 2011] LOVE THIS MAG :D

Just hang in there. The soreness will abate at some point. Try just doing a lighter workout like walking (active rest) the days after your workout. If you just keep moving, even if it's just lightly, it will help that soreness. Hang in there - you're doing great!

I know when I saw it I was like yup putting this up. I have been 5 months "clean" lol I consider what I had a food and sugar addiction. I had my daughter 5 months ago and while I tried to eat "Lower" carbs while pregnant and cut out sugary sodas and stuff I still occasionally ate bad but I had Gestational Diabetes with her and the pregnancy before her so I had to be careful and then afterwards my doctor told me I had more than a 50% of developing type 2 diabetes later in life.... talk about a wake up call. So I have been sugar and starch carbs "sober" ever since lol :D But just think about what all those bad foods and sugars do to your body and after watching shows like the Biggest Loser where they show you what 10lbs of fat LOOKS like I was really grossed out and really want to get healthy. Good luck darlin you are on your way too! xox
