Not A Popular View, But I Do Believe In The Justice System

Tomorrow is her freedom day...
Since I'm an attorney I do believe the State has to prove their case and here they didn't. This is not meant to spark controversy...just a reflection on my part, that's all. And no, this has nothing to do with weight loss...but it is my blog and therefore I'm free to post what I like. If you fear that this will affect you...then please don't read it...

    I don't think you have to be a lawyer to believe in the rule of law. If this country was governed under mob rule (or media hysteria rule), then we would decide guilt and innocence that way. But we dont. We have a judicial system and everyone has the right to be judged by a jury of their peers. The government made its case, they didn't have the evidence to convict. She is a free person. Any American in that situation would want and expect the same treatment. Can we move on and talk about more important stuff now?
