My favorite summer dessert

Strawberry Pie

2 cups water
1 box sugar free cook & serve pudding and pie mix
1 box sugar free strawberry jello
4 cups sliced fresh strawberries
Cool Whip

Mix water and pudding in a microwave safe bowl. Stir well and microwave on high for 2 minutes. Take out and stir well with wire whisk. Put back in microwave and continue cooking until it starts to boil and thicken. Remove from microwave and allow to cool.

Meanwhile, slice strawberries in a pie plate.

Allow mixture to sit until almost room temperature.

Whisk jello powder in the pudding mix until all of jello powder is mixed.

Pour over strawberries.

Chill. Then serve with a dollop of cool whip...

    YUMMY ! I agree that in a gramham cracker crust this would be to die for,,,only I'd leave out the strawberries,,,LOL I am NOt a big fruit eater. LOL to each his own huh? Though 2 weeks ago, i would of put them in cos it was fresh picking season here, and they were to DIE for and a friend picked some for me. YUMMY !

    Sounds good. Did you ever try putting it in a graham cracker crust? I've made similar "jello pies". They are all good.

    This sounds really good! I'm assuming you use vanilla pudding.
