Leaving the weight issue.

Wednesday, July 13, 2011

Yesterday I came to a realization and it came from my weekly weigh in. I gained a little bit of weight, but went down in size. I have always understood that this happens as you develop muscle and lose fat. Now my goals is to get to a certain size in clothes and not mind the scale numbers. I have a pair of jeans in the size I wish to be and once they fit comfortably, then I will start maintaining no matter what my weight is. That change in my thinking actually took a lot of pressure off myself.

LOOK AT YOU GO!!!!! Almost FIFTY pounds GONE!!!!! ISN'T IT GREAT!!!

When you are losing as much as we are, I have found that there may be a week or two where "things seem to be moving around"....or something like that....

I weigh in every monday to help keep me focused no the weekends. I will continue to do so, but not get upset if I gain a little as long as my measurements go down.

HI, IA....we've missed you in the team discussions....I am glad that you are removing your focus from being too much on the scale...but I would still weigh-in every couple of weeks....

Sounds like you are doing GREAT....and the weeks that I had a small gain, were usually followed by a big loss the following week....just keep on SPARKING!!!! Sometimes I would wait for two days after my usual weigh-in day, weigh myself again....and find I DID have a loss after all....

    Peace & love!
