Hello friends! Just a quick blog to say HELLO!!! I popped in a few times today and scrolled through my friend feed. I read some updates, looked at some photos, and read a few blogs. Lots of good stuff there.

I am working on shifting my focus from weight loss, into what I am calling "pre-maintenance". To me that means a shift in how I think of my body as it is now as well as a shift in how I think about food. I still have many fitness goals. I am now 6 months in to my yoga practice. I am having mental and physical break throughs right and left. I am practicing 6 days a week right now, with the occasional run or ST video in the mix. Mostly yoga though. I feel like yoga + eat to live is healing my body. It is taking time and a lot of hard work.

As for my food plan: I am sticking with the basic 3-meal a day Eat to Live challenge plan. The only real variation is to add in more nuts and WHOLE grains like rice and quinoa (limited pasta, tortillas, etc.). In addition, I am allowing myself a treat 2-3 times a month. Nothing over the top, and vegan when possible. It has to be worth it. This gives me something to look forward to and makes it easier to stay away from over eating on "healthier" and less satisfying treats.

Working on getting the bills paid and the house clean. My garden is growing well. I have been harvesting some greens. My tomato plants are getting big. Perhaps I will share some pictures in the next few days.

Thank you so much to everyone who has been checking in on me. I have been reading comments today and I really appreciate everyone's support. You people rock! I'll be popping in from time to time, but I am still trying to limit my time spent on the internets.
