Digging in my HEELS!!!! errrgggg!!!

so ! the battle of the buldge is actually several battles. and i've served several tour of duties now.

my last blog was me, being honest about the emotional eating thats been happening. and trying to finish climbing a foothill so i could re-focus my scope on the target. by re-focusing meaning, get my determination and my since of reality back!

a visit to the doctor actually helped with that last boost i think. she said even though i was telling her i gained 10 pounds eating too much recently and not attending the gym, that i was still 15 lighter than the last time when i was in there. now, it may not be the goal i want to hear about. but i thought to myself, yeh, darn it. i am still not ALL the way up there. and i can turn this around now. i am still in fairly good standing with the gym equitment and i can still take a bit of a beating. its ONLY been 4 weeks. not months.

today is tuesday the 12th. i went back to the gym thursday the 7th then friday. skipped the weekend but did a lot of walking saturday, and went to zumba, yesterday the 11th. so in that respect i am getting my heels dug back in.

now i will be focusing more on what i am allowing myself to bring into the house and eat. i havnt decided. either tomorrow or the next day i will be doing a 3 day detox using beach body shakeology products.

i am excited to get this kicked off with the shakes so i can hopefully balance out and lose the cravings i keep having. (sugar begots more sugar) lol


i will let ya know how the detox goes. hopefully i can feel a difference. :)

    Here's the cleanse breakdown:

    NO:

    Only Low Fat Dressings.

    You can put your 2 snacks before/after any of the MAJOR MEALS-Breakfast

    Lunch & Dinner

    The fruit was optional, and I actually discouraged it some of you will need the calories where others would not.

    I also said NO DIARY products at all for maximum results, no almond soy or rice milk,

    Dinner salad was only WHITE GRILLED PROTEIN. Poultry or fish.

    REPEAT all 3 Days

    1 cup of green tea
    I used Triple Leaf Detox Tea

    BREAKFAST:
    Shakeology 140 calories
    1 scoop
    ½ cup of fruit (60-90 calories)-optional
    add ice
    8-10 oz of water

    SNACK (85 calories)
    1 piece of fruit
    - Apple, pear, orange, banana mango, etc

    LUNCH:
    Shakeology (140 calories)
    1 scoop
    Add ice
    10 oz of water

    1 cup of green tea or a Detox Tea

    SNACK:
    (either snack here or after dinner one or the other)
    Shakeology (140 calories)
    1 scoop
    Add ice
    8-10 oz of water

    DINNER:
    Salad Grilled white fish or poultry (roughly 340 calories)

    SNACK:
    (either snack here or after dinner one or the other)
    Shakeology (140 calories)
    1 scoop
    Add ice
    8-10 oz of water

    Yay for a new Freska blog!
    So wait what kind of detox are you doing?? I have never heard of it! I might have to google it later. But ya it sounds like you have a solid plan for getting yourself back on track. You are right, it was only 4 weeks. You might have gained 10 but like the Doctor said, you are still under what you were before. Keep that motivation in your heart and you will be able to stay focused this time. Also, I am here for you if you need someone to talk to~always!
    OH and by the way I have a pretty big addiction to sugar myself. Some things I try to buy at the store are sugar free pudding snacks and skinny cow ice creams. Also the Slimfast shakes in chocolate. I know it seems weird to buy those (at least for me it was) but they are lower calorie than a snickers bar (my fav) and keep me full for quite awhile. Or I would suggest Luna bars which are DELICIOUS but they can be kinda pricey so I only buy a few at a time.
    Anyway I am going to dig my own heels in again this week and do the 30 day shred 5 days at least. I'll be here if you need me!
