Weekend recap and Detox Monday, This adventurer is ready for a new week:)

Monday, July 11, 2011

Good morning all,
I hope everyone had a fantastic weekend! I had another busy weekend. Saturday was devoted to the house and an hour and a half of yard work. Sunday I hiked Camelback mountain again with my Toughmudder teammates:). It was fun, and then it hit 100 dgrees and it sucked godzilla balls. But I made it down sweating perfusely. (Note to self, I need to buy black workout shorts so it doesn't look like I peed myself from all the sweat haha. TMI I know).
I know I ate way to much this weekend so I have dictated today as my detox Monday to try and get rid of all the gunk I ate. The plan is to stick to mainly fruits and veggies while I am at work and have plenty of water. When I get home I will have a Vietnamese bbq salad and stop eating after 7. I will also get my butt on that treadmill and run 3 miles because I know I need to keep moving so my muscle don't get stiff from the hike.
This week my goals and plans are as follows.

Successfully complete my detox on Monday. Run 3 miles, followed by the toughmudder workout and ab ripper x.
Tuesday- Run 2.5 miles before work and do Shoulders, Arms and Triceps
Wednesday- Run 2.5 miles before work and do the toughmudder workout and ab ripper x
Thursday- Run 2.5 miles before work and back and biceps
Friday-Run 2.5 miles before work and toughmudder workout
Saturday- Rest day
Sunday- Hike Camelback mountain and possibly workout with the toughmudder crew after.

This week I will make the effort to stay within my nutrition goals. I will make lots of homemade meals and not order out this week. I will focus on eating fresh fruits and veggies and not so many carbs. I will stop my mindless eating over the weekends that seem to constantly derail my progress.

I will succeed! Because when I do I feel so proud of myself.
I will have an active week and weekend! Because my body loves it when I do.
I will take my dogs on my runs! Because they need some puppy time with me:)
I will drink plenty of water and NO soda! Because my body needs better stuff to run off other than fructose corn syrup and gunk that fyi can increase the likely hood of cancer when drank daily.

So here are my goals, I hope you all have a great day :) Good luck , we can do this.
