So, it's been a couple weeks. I did little other then hang at home over 4th of July weekend. We drove down to Pt. Pleasant, NJ on July 3rd for a couple days and I was happy that I swam in the ocean a bit - good exercise - but got extreme sunburn on my back. We got back Tuesday night and I stayed home sick on Wednesday, the 6th, I was in so much pain. I suffered another two days before the pain decreased. I spent this past Saturday also doing relatively nothing at the house, "recuperating", but for a load of dishes and laundry. Sunday, I dragged myself, kicking and screaming, to church (I was being REALLY lazy), and was happy I went after all.

The whole weekend, starting Friday, was a Harry Potter movie weekend. The last movie is coming out next week, so I watched all of them on our own videos, and then watched a few more on TV Sat./Sun.
Now I'm into peeling/itching phase and amongst other things was so distracted last night from the peeling I didn't sleep much. I'm back at work, and the pedometer is finally back in position on my waist. I'm not going to push it, because it's HOT outside, and I'm not about to expose my sensitive skin to that during lunch, so I'll walk about as much as I can inside the office.
I've been very bad with food too, but again, am slowly working my way back to some semblance of healthier eating. I also stopped my back exercises, since the trip but ironically I've had little back pain while I was suffering the effects of the sunburn.
the back-scratcher at my desk is my friend... more later!
Had lunch with a friend, an important conversation with another, and can't wait to get back home so I can continue reading book 6 of the "Left Behind" series...
I need to get "back on program" slowly. Pedometer is on, trying to drink my water, and will limit my snacks this evening by eating the food I've made, plus a grapefruit, and drinking more water. If I'm still tempted to over snack, I will fold that laundry, and put the mattress pad on our bed - procrastinating doing that, so by using that as a "distraction" from food, I'll better be able to resist the snacking.
