Pound gained instead of lost shock....

Sunday, July 10, 2011

I know, I know, I know...... it happens. it's ok. Just keep moving in the direction of self-care, choose healthy snacks, keep to the program's calorie intake suggestion, exercise......... just keep doing what I'm doing (with a little more ice cream portion control - please) Just don't give up!!!

But I feel crummy and sad and defeated about it anyway.

Well, I'm going to allow a pity party of about 30 minutes this morning and then move on. Darn. I wanted to see at least a pound gone..... maybe my self pity weighs 2 pounds (hahahaha)

Silly girl. No need for the pitty party. I only weigh myself once a week. It gets me too frustrated to be tied to the scale. Fluxuation is daily. Read the info on it. A better way to track I find is measurements. Try on your old clothes. Do they fit? Do you feel good? Are you charting your foods and making better choices. I know your history shows that you CAN fix this and you inspire me to do better. If you are still looking for a buddy I would be glad to be one. Your brain and mine are in the same mode. PS I think your scale is broken!

Yup it happens! Give yourself a break if you've been on track and if you exercise. Something as simple as water consumption can cause several pounds in fluctuation amongst many other variables! So just remember if you truly have been sticking to your plan don't fret! Well you can for those 30 minutes, lol. Take care.
