9th day of the DIY challenge and I'm trying to evaluate my progress honestly.

Have I made huge changes? NO. Have I made some changes? YES.

What do I need to work on the most? Excuses excuses and excuses, and consistency.

I have come to a realization. I may actually have to break up with pizza. Pizza has been a loved companion of mine for years. Fast, easy, delivered even!! If I have pizza in front of me I will eat until it's gone.

If I have a salad first and get full...then over eat on pizza until I am STUFFED and feel sick. I have even eaten an entire meal of salad and BBQ ribs and then gone back for pizza. Pizza is a definite trigger food.

It's an abusive boyfriend though...luring me in with sweet excuses of being so good for me...dairy and carbs and protein and even vegetables...telling me ..THIS TIME WILL BE DIFFERENT....I can stop when I am satiated...then abusing me with a sickeningly full stomach, sodium bloat, and weight gain.

I think I may break up with pizza. I can try going out with pizza's cousin..homemade flatbread pizza..it will be less calories, maybe not as good, but if it's satisfying I will be ok.

So for the next week I am going to work on blasting through my excuses and being consistent. And I need to gently tell my husband that PIZZA is no longer welcome here.
