Aready July and what's on my mind

What a whirlwind the past few months have been. Ive been on my own personal roller coaster. Experiences good and bad, highs and lows. I have neglected my body and my health and have bounced back....slowly and steadily. I have tried my hardest to maintain 500 fitness minutes weekly. Sometimes Im successful, sometimes not. I was told I overcompensate by working out too much or doing the wrong exercises. My knee was hurting and my doctor suggested stopping yoga and Curves....something I WILL NOT DO! WHY? without these 2 fundamental elements, I would not have lost my weight. Curves will be apart of my fitness and part of my core program. I add in roller blading, yoga, Zumba, walking with my husband to compliment it. I may not be where I imagined myself 5 years ago. Im not super skinny or super fit, but I AM MUCH more healthier inside and it is showing gradually on the outside.
Long gone are wishes of instant gratification. Slow and steady and consistent activities and dieting pay off in the long run. Its a tough lesson and one that we all have to learn, one way or the other. There is no magic pill, or remedy....only the die hard FACT: CALORIES IN VS. CALORIES OUT. Ive incorporated the thought of Random acts of fitness as well. They all contribute to my greater well being.
